Frances Elaine (Jay) Corcoran

Frances Elaine (Jay) Corcoran was born July 31,1933 in Bisbee, AZ to Austin and Mary (Nowlin) Jay, both of whom were from pioneer Arizona families.

Elaine is survived by Bob, her husband of 69 years. She is also survived by her daughter Mary (Lou) Giebel of AZ, and sons Larry (Denise) Corcoran of Howe, TX, Paul (Karla) Corcoran of Sherman, TX and Fr. Anthony Corcoran, SJ, Apostolic Administrator to Kyrgyzstan. She is also survived by her much loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Joseph, her parents Mary and Austin and her sister Pat Lake of Sherman, TX.

Services were held on Wed. January 12th at 10:00AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Van Alstyne, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Family Catholic Church building fund, 919 Spence Rd. Van Alstyne, TX 75495.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated and her cremains were interred at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sherman, TX.
