VAN ALSTYNE — Keserie Paredes was 22 years old at the time of her death, living in McKinney with her boyfriend and working on a new house in Heartland, Texas. She died on December 21, 2017 in an accident in El Paso, Texas.
She was born June 13, 1995 in Dallas, Texas to Kerry and Ricky Paredes. She was the middle of three children, with an older sister, Felicia, and later arriving brother, Michael. She loved and cared for her family dearly. She was a social butterfly making friends everywhere she went.
She attended Van Alstyne schools her entire school life, graduating high school in 2013. At 21, she became a truck driver and loved her job. We were all very proud of her drive and the path that her life was heading. She was a great mother to her dog Delilah who she loved dearly. She liked all animals and cared for any creature she came across. She will be dearly missed and definitely never forgotten.
Keserie is survived by her mother, father, sister and brother along with many other family members, who will always miss her bright smile and giggle. If three words could sum up Keserie’s life they would be joyous, adventurous and promising.
Her funeral service was held Tuesday, December 26th at 2 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, Texas. You may sign the online register at www.scogginsfuneralhome.com. Thank you for all prayers.
