PROVO, Utah — Nathan Gift ran a personal-record, helping the Texas Tech men finish 17th Friday at the NCAA Mountain Regional cross country meet.

Gift ran the 10,000-meter course in 32 minutes, 9.2 seconds, good for 92nd place. Tech's Luke Estes (32:56.0) was 104th. Stephen Alvarez, Shea Whatley and Connor Hughes finished 107th through 109th.

On the women's side, Seselia Dala was Tech's fastest runner, finishing the 6,000 meters in 21:43.0 for 78th. Lauren Offerman (22:27.9) was 111th and Bret Leigh Nance (22:30.1) placed 113th.

It was the season-ending meet for Tech, which had no runners advance. The Northern Arizona men and New Mexico women won the team titles.
