HOWE — A big offensive night pushed the Lady Bulldogs to a 61-36 victory in district play against Lone Oak on Friday, Dec. 15. This win puts the Howe girls at 1-1 in district play.

Dominating offensive performances by Lady Bulldogs Peyton Streetman, Payton Griffin and Ally Harvey gave the Lady Bulldogs the fuel to win by a large margin in their first home district game of the young season.

Streetman made 66-percent of her 18 total shots, which resulted in a 14 point game for the senior. Griffin was a sharpshooter from beyond the arch, sinking two of her three shots from the three; she would end the game with 15 total points. Harvey was a consistent scorer, making five out of her total nine shots to end the night with 13 total points.

The Lady Bulldogs and head coach Derek Lands hope to keep up their offensive pace against district opponent Whitewright at home on Jan. 2. The home conference game tips off in Howe at 6:15 p.m.
