HOWE — Molly Wilson and the Lady Bulldogs are nearing the end of a tough district run with a 3A Region II District 10 record of 0-5 after losing to Leonard 13-25, 13-25, 15-25 in all three sets in a match held last Saturday morning. Originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 13, the match was pushed back a day due to the Leonard bus wreck that occured in Tom Bean last Friday afternoon. No one in the wreck was seriously injured.

Moving forward from the loss, the Lady Bulldogs of Howe (1-18) will depend on team leaders like Ally Harvey as they complete the final two matches of district competition and the season that started with a match against Farmersville at home on Tuesday, Oct. 17 that resulted in a loss.

Harvey has proven to be a standout player for the Lady Bulldogs in 2017 after leading the team in kills overall. Jenna Honore, Cassidy Anderson and Kylie Hooper will join together with their fellow Lady Bulldog volleyball players to end a challenging season with their final game of 2017 being played against rivals Van Alstyne at home on Friday, Oct. 20.
