The Van Alstyne tennis program continues to make waves at the Princeton Tournaments, as the girls’doubles team of Carlie Wiffeford and Dakota Kern captured the title at the Feb. 7 event. The duo won the consolation title at the first meet of the season and stepped up their play to grab the gold at the second event of the 2017 season.

Newcomer Katie Simpson was the consolation champion in girls’ singles.

Senior Grayson Leinart and junior Sydney Simmons medaled for the second consecutive week, finishing third in mixed doubles on the 7.

Trenton High School will be hosting a tournament on Feb. 16-18 at the Princeton High School courts.
