About 24 hours after a man wielding a knife robbed a Toot 'n Totum convenience store on Western Street, a suspect matching the description from the night before knocked off another Toot 'n Totum, this time on River Road, on Tuesday.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s with dirty-blond hair wearing a blue bandanna over his face, a dark blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. On Wednesday, Amarillo Crime Stoppers increased the reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest to $2,000.

On Tuesday, at about 10:45 p.m., APD officers were dispatched to the Toot 'n Totum at 3522 River Road on an armed robbery. The suspect for the second consecutive night was armed with a knife and took an undisclosed amount of money from the store, APD stated. The robbery on Monday occurred at about 10:40 p.m. at the convenience store at 211 S. Western St.

On Tuesday, the suspect fled in a late '90s or early 2000s Yellow Ford Mustang with black racing stripes, according to the police. On Monday, he left on foot.

The only difference in the descriptions was on Monday he was listed as 6-feet, 2-inches tall; Tuesday, he was described as being 6-feet tall.
