1. Kick-a-thon: This is community event to be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Vision Martial Arts Center, 3019 W. 15th St., Plano, will benefit the Plano and Wylie Children’s Medical Clinics. The goal is to purchase 50 Bicycle Helmets. Any child who does 500 kicks gets to break a board. Any child with 1000 kicks gets a free month of training (new students only) and the child with the most donations wins a beautiful sword and stand. Call Vision Martial Arts to register and receive your pledge sheet. There will be board breaking, self-dense movies and more.


2. Sweatin For The Vets 5k Run-Walk-Roll: Historic Constantine Masonic Lodge #13 Presents: Sweating for the Vets Run Walk Roll, an activity for all ages and Fitness levels will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Old Bonham Armory/Civic Center. This will include a 5K Run, 1Mile Fun Run/walk, Boot Camp Stations, Athletic Competitions, Race day T-shirts. This benefits two veterans organizations, Broken Wheel Ranch and Disabled American Sportsmen. T-shirts will be on first come basis while available.


3. November Project FC Dallas Stadium Workout: FC Dallas will have another free stadium workout at Toyota Stadium. This event will be held from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at 9200 World Cup Way, Frisco. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. Bounce starts promptly at 9 a.m. There will also be a yoga cool down. Park in the “gold lot” to the north west of the stadium. Enter through the west gate of the stadium.


4. Hustle + Flow free workout: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nov. 18, Thousand Oaks at Austin Ranch, 6900 Sumner St., The Colony. Uptown Yoga will be co-leading a free event with Strong Austin Ranch from 10-11 a.m. Saturday. Class will be a 30 minute body-weight workout, 30 minute yoga class, appropriate for all levels. Please bring your yoga mat, tennis shoes, water bottle and towel. You do not need to be a member at either studio to come. The location of this event is at the “Village Green” lawn at the crossroads of Sumner Street and Saintsbury Drive East in The Colony.


5. Lights at Legacy: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 19, The Shops at Legacy, 5741 Legacy Drive, Plano. Lights at Legacy welcomes the 2017 holiday season with a grand tree-lighting and family-fun event at The Shops at Legacy.
