Volunteers, some members of the Van Alstyne Chamber of Commerce and others not members, have been working together diligently to complete the small details for Saturday’s Fall der All, now in its 7th year of bringing the community together in fall festival style.

Food vendors who have signed up are offering tacos, kettle corn, barbque, snow cones and more. Other vendors are bringing hand-crafted jewelry, decorations and more to help festival-goers begin their special gift shopping or just find something special for themselves. Business and church vendors are setting up to let patrons know about their services. Many of them are bringing games to be played by anyone, such as sets of cornhole boards for a challenge. The always popular children’s train will run much of the day. Music will be provided in three locations, dance groups and marshal arts demonstrations will take place, the kids zone will be ready with its bounce houses — and so much more to look forward to.

The parade will line up at 9 a.m., and step-off is at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., the winners of the various float and group categories, along with the scarecrow contests winners, will be announced from the Gazebo stage. After that, it all kicks off.

There’s no charge for admission to Fall der All. The event will be held in downtown Van Alstyne and is open to everyone.
