Anna Police said that at approximately 11 p.m. on Monday night, a routine traffic stop led to the arrest of three people for drug possession. Anna Police Inspector Rush Smith said as the officer approached the vehicle, which had three occupants in it, he noted a strong smell of marijuana.

The officer then called for backup officers and conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. The search turned up approximately 237 grams of methamphetamine and a half ounce of marijuana.

The occupants, Brandon Porter, Rodney Porter and Donna Hall were all arrested and booked into the Collin County Jail. They are facing felony charges for delivery of a controlled substance. All three are also facing possession charges for marijuana.

Brandon Porter and Hall are being held on $8,000 bond and Rodney Porter is being held on $8,250 bond.
