Free and open to the public, Collin College’s Dignity Initiative will host a Batterer’s Intervention Panel. The panel discussion will focus on the role the batterer plays in domestic violence and the batterer’s responsibility to learn skills to control anger and violence in order to engage in a healthy, nonviolent relationship.
The panel will include John Sharp, Batterer Intervention Program (BIPP) manager for Hope’s Door/New Beginning Center and representatives of the Collin County Domestic Violence Unit.
The panel will be held on the following dates:
1 – 2:15 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23 at the Preston Ridge Campus conference center, 9700 Wade Boulevard in Frisco.
11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Central Park Campus Conference Center, 2200 W. University Drive in McKinney.
11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Spring Creek Campus Living Legends Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano,
