Anna police responded to three wrecks during Monday morning’s rain, but Investigator Rush Smith said none involved serious injuries. The one shown here was in the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 75, about 9 a.m. Smith said the SUV driver spun out on the wet pavement and slid off the roadway. As a precaution, EMS was called. Anna FD assisted by setting fire trucks up south of the incident and, using their emergency lights, moved traffic into the right lane, away from the wreck and the first responders.
